Promoting a project

Pay by the hour to put a live project where farmers already look — the Sponsored strip on their Projects page or the Project talk slot in the forum — paid on-chain, live the moment payment confirms.

What a promotion is

Farmers come to DappFactory to find campaigns worth joining. A promotion places one of your projects where they look: a paid slot for a number of hours, shown to everyone browsing that surface. The creative is the project itself — its name, symbol, image and farmer count — so there is nothing to upload and nothing to review.

Only a project that is live can be promoted, and only a minted NFT collection can take the marketplace slot.

The placements

  • Sponsored strip — a card pinned above the project grid on the farmers' Projects page, the page they open to find something to farm.
  • Project talk — a slot above the project board list in the forum, where farmers arrive with questions. Lower traffic, but they are already curious.
  • NFT marketplace — a featured slide at the top of the Marketplace page in every business console, for one of your NFT collections: its banner, profile image, items, floor and royalty. Only a minted collection that is not hidden can take it.

Each placement has its own hourly rate, its own minimum and maximum booking length, and a fixed number of slots, all set by the platform team. The form shows how full each placement is right now. When every slot is taken, a new booking on that placement cannot go live until one ends.

Price

Choose the placement and the number of hours — the form lets you enter days, weeks or months, but everything is billed by the hour. The price is the hourly rate multiplied by the hours, shown in US dollars. When you continue to payment the platform takes a fresh SOL rate and fixes the SOL amount; that is what you pay, and it does not move while you complete the payment. Payment is taken once, upfront. Nothing recurs and nothing auto-renews.

Paying

Payment is made from your connected wallet (Settings → Wallets, or connect one on the spot) to the platform's advertising wallet, on the network your project runs on. The platform verifies the transaction on-chain; each transaction can pay for one booking only. The promotion becomes active immediately — nobody reviews it first.

You can also send the amount manually from any wallet to the address shown and submit the transaction.

Scheduling

By default a promotion starts the moment payment clears. You can instead pick a start date and time in the future; the promotion is paid for now and appears when that time arrives, then runs for the hours you bought.

Running and ending

A promotion runs for its hours and stops on its own — there is nothing to cancel. Where several projects are promoted in the same placement, the most recently started sits first.

A booking that is never paid stays awaiting payment; you can cancel it from My promotions. To keep a project in front of farmers past the end, buy another booking: Add hours and Run it again both open the Promote flow for a new one.

What you can see

My promotions lists every booking with its placement, state, hours, the SOL rate at payment and the transaction, plus impressions and clicks so far. Open one for its day-by-day figures.

Promo performance brings your promotions together: seen, clicks and click rate; farmers joined — joins credited to a promotion because that farmer clicked its card within seven days before joining — and cost per join, spend divided by those joins. You also get the last thirty days as a trend, clicks by hour of day, and a breakdown by placement and by project, so you can see which placement pulls attention and which one actually converts.
