Collectibles and keepsakes
Earn points in a community season and you can take something home when it closes. Everyone claims a free keepsake. The ranks the project put in its collectible band also get a durable collectible, and anyone can pay for one of their own.

Prizes go to the paying positions. The keepsake is what everyone with points takes home, and a durable collectible is either a prize of its own or something you choose to pay for. Both live on your Collectibles page; durable collectibles can also travel to the NFT Market.
Who gets what
Anyone with points in a community season that has closed. Membership alone is not enough — a season you joined but never scored in has nothing to claim. Once a season ends, up to three things wait for you:
- A keepsake — free, for every entrant, rank 1 to last.
- A prize collectible — free, if your rank is inside the collectible band the project funded. The band is a prize like any other, so it is in the official rules and the prize table.
- A participation collectible — any entrant, band or not, can pay for one. At most one per season.
A band member can hold both a prize collectible and a participation collectible from the same season.
Keepsake
A branded record: a background and texture, the DappFactory logo, and a plate with your rank, the project and the season. The plate makes yours unique, and its tier follows the season's prize bands: gold for the first prize band, silver for the second, bronze for any other prize band or the collectible band, and a participant plate for everyone else who took part. Keepsakes are compressed NFTs: free, yours to keep, and refused by the marketplace if you try to list one — they are records of what you did, not trade goods.
Collectible
A piece of art composed for you from the project's layered set, with no text on it. Your rank and points are in its data, and no two collectibles in a season are the same. It mints as a durable NFT (Metaplex Core) that you can list on the DappFactory NFT Market or anywhere that takes the standard.
- Where the art comes from: each collectible shows the template it was composed from — its name and version, whether it is the platform's or the project's own — and its layers with your traits and how rare each one is in that season. You also see it at claim, as From {template}.
- Funded for you: inside the band, the project has already paid the mint, the storage and the platform fee. Claim within the project's window — 30 days after the season closes — before the unspent budget returns to it.
- Paying for your own: three lines quoted separately — the platform fee, the mint and the one-off Arweave storage — plus the project's claiming fee when it used its own artwork. The claiming fee never applies to a funded collectible, and it is shown before you confirm. Your wallet adds its own network fee. The payment is one transaction from your linked wallet; if it lands but the claim does not, the next attempt reuses it rather than charging you again.
- Reselling: each resale pays a royalty — to the project if it used its own artwork, or to DappFactory if it used the platform's — plus a DappFactory resale fee. Both are shown before you list.
Claiming
Open Collectibles, choose the season and claim. Before you commit, the claim page shows what will be stamped or composed, where the art comes from and, for a paid collectible, every line you will pay. Both kinds mint straight to the wallet linked on your profile, so link one first; nothing expires while you do.
- The image is composed from the template's layers.
- It is written to Arweave once, permanently, with its metadata.
- It is minted to your wallet — a durable collectible into the project's collection, a keepsake as a compressed leaf in the platform's tree.
- It appears under Yours, where you can open it, see its traits and, for a collectible, list it or save its image.

Buying from a drop
Platform collectibles and Founders collectibles are drops: numbered runs from DappFactory or from a business that you buy directly, outside any season. Pick an open number and pay once from your linked wallet — the price, a small platform fee, the one-off storage and the chain's mint cost are each shown before you confirm — and the artwork is composed for you when it mints. The number is only a label: nobody, you included, sees an item's traits before it exists. Items you buy carry a Drop badge and sit under Yours as Bought (Drop), so they never look like a prize you won.
When you resell a drop item on the NFT Market, the drop's owner gets the royalty they set and DappFactory charges its resale trading fee. Both are shown before you list.
Buying by rarity
Some sales open to holders first. A seller can open a sale to holders of another collection before everyone else — until a date shown on the sale — or to holders only. If you are kept out, the sale shows what opens it and a link to the marketplace; a collection's page lists the sales holding it opens under What holding unlocks. Once you hold a counting item, Shuffle and Buy work as usual; the check runs again at mint.
Some drops — and some collections sold from their own page — are priced by rarity. The whole run was drawn when it was published; every item has a rank and one of the sale's rarity tiers — Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon and Common by default, though DappFactory may name more — and each tier has its own price. The page shows every tier with its price now and how many are left, and a provenance hash proves nothing was reshuffled after the draw.
- Pick a tier and Shuffle. Shuffle holds a random number of that tier for you for five minutes at the tier's price now. The page shows the hold and its timer; shuffle again for another number, or pay. Nobody — you included — sees an item's traits before it mints.
- Prices step up. Every tier rises a little each time a set number of items sell; the page shows the price now and the next step, and your hold keeps the price it was taken at.
- A tier sells out. When the tier you picked has gone, the page offers the next one up. When your hold runs out before you pay, the number goes back on sale and you can shuffle again.
- What you get. The item shows its tier and rank once it mints, and a trait nobody else has marks it 1 of 1 — a one-of-one ranks first and lands in the one-of-one tier when DappFactory runs one, otherwise in the rarest tier.
A collection priced by rarity sells the same way from its collection page on the NFT Market: the buy card on the page is the same tier picker, and each number mints straight into the collection.
