Joining a raise

A raise is a token sale with a fixed window. You contribute SOL while it is open; at close you receive your pro-rata share of the sale tokens, or a full refund if the raise fell short of its floor.

A raise is a token sale run by a project on the platform: a fixed window during which anyone can contribute SOL, and a settlement at close that prices the token from the total raised. Raises in the side menu lists every one you can join.

Only an organisation the platform has verified, and that is on a paid plan, can open a raise — so every raise you see is backed by a checked business.

Finding a raise

The Raises page spans every project on the platform. Filter by All, Open, My positions (raises you have contributed to) or Settling, or search by project name or ticker.

Each card shows:

  • a progress bar measured against the cap, with the floor marked on the same track (or against the floor when there is no cap);
  • the amount raised so far and the number of contributors;
  • a countdown to the close;
  • your own position, once you have one.

If the platform has not yet enabled token raises, the page shows a licence notice instead of the directory. Nothing is hidden from you — it says so.

The terms of a sale

Open a raise to see its terms:

  • Floor — the minimum the raise must reach to succeed.
  • Cap — an optional maximum. "No cap" means contributions are accepted until the window closes.
  • Supply split — how much of the token goes to the sale, to liquidity and to the project's reserve.
  • Window closes — the deadline, set by the project within the platform's bounds when it opened the raise.

Contributing

  1. Connect your wallet. The page then shows your balance and a Max preset beside the fixed presets.
  2. Enter an amount in SOL or pick a preset. There is a smallest contribution, set by the platform — if you go under it the message tells you the minimum. A contribution that would take the raise past its cap is refused; the message says how much room is left.
  3. See your projection. As you type, the page estimates your tokens at the current price: the tokens on sale times your share of everything contributed so far.
  4. Sign the transfer. Your wallet sends the SOL to the raise escrow and shows the network transaction fee before you approve. The platform verifies the transfer on-chain and records your contribution; each on-chain transfer counts once.

You can contribute more than once while the raise is open; your position is the sum.

The price

There is no fixed price during the window. At close the realised price is the total raised divided by the tokens on sale. Your entitlement is the sale tokens multiplied by your share of the total, rounded down.

When it closes

  • Contributions stop at the deadline; the raise shows as Settling.
  • If the floor was met, the platform seeds a liquidity pool at the realised price, the token goes live, and your pro-rata tokens are sent to the wallet you contributed from — automatically. There is nothing to claim and no claim fee. If the raise runs an Alpha Vault, the pool opens after the vault's deposit window instead (below).
  • If the floor was not met, every contributor is refunded in full to the wallet they contributed from.

A settled raise shows as Settled and stays under My positions with your contribution. Settlement runs in the background, so allow some time after the deadline for the transfer or refund to appear in your wallet.

Alpha Vault

Some raises reserve part of their pool for chosen farmers before anyone else can trade. The token's market page shows an Alpha Vault card: who it is for (the project's backers, its business's leaderboard top players, holders of chosen collections), whether you are in and why, and the most you can deposit.

  • Deposits open when the raise settles and stay open for 24, 48 or 72 hours. Deposit from your linked wallet; you can withdraw while the window is open.
  • When the window closes, the pool opens about 65 minutes later. In that hour the vault buys at the opening price, the same for everyone in it.
  • Your tokens unlock evenly over the vesting days the card shows. Claim what has unlocked from the token's page under My Tokens.
  • Unused SOL — if the list deposited more than the vault could buy, you are filled in proportion; take the rest back to your wallet from the same page.

Every step is signed in your own wallet. The SOL sits in Meteora's vault, never with DappFactory.
