Editing a task
Most of a task can change after it goes live. The kind and the project cannot, and nothing you change touches points already credited.

What you can change
Everything a farmer sees and everything that decides the reward: the title, instructions, image and button label; the reward in points; the target; the verification mode; the platform and action of a social task, or the endpoint and identifier type of a custom task; the commission that makes a task paid; and the completion cap of a social task.
The same rules as on creation still apply. Switching a social task to Auto (API) is refused unless the action is one the platform can check — a Telegram join, a Discord join or an X follow. A commission can only be attached if it is active and its fee is for the task resource, and a custom task still cannot carry one. Leave the commission untouched and the task keeps its current paid or free state; set it to Free and the next completion is free.
What is fixed
The kind — social or custom — cannot change, because completions were verified against it. A task also stays on the project it was created for; the project field is read-only on the edit form.
A custom task's completion cap is set by the platform team, so the edit form does not offer it.
What happens to existing completions
Nothing. Points already credited stay with the farmer. A change to the reward, the target or the verification mode applies to completions from that moment on; a completion from before keeps the points it was awarded at the time.
Changing the target of a live task deserves a second look: every farmer who starts it from now on is sent to the new target, and an automatic check is made against it.
Switching a task off
Set it inactive and it disappears from My Tasks. Farmers who completed it keep their points, and you can switch it back on later. Your tasks are never deleted, so the completion count on the task and the entries behind it survive.
If a completion should not have been credited
You cannot reverse a completion yourself. The platform team can void an entry, which takes the points back from the farmer and marks the entry reversed — unless the farmer has already spent those points on a token claim, in which case the void is refused. Find the entry on your Entries page and send its details to the platform team.
