Treasury trades: buybacks and sales
Buy back your Season launch token with treasury SOL, or sell unlocked tokens from your business buckets, in the open and within DappFactory's limits.

Open Treasury trades in the side menu, under Tokens. It lists your Season launch tokens with what you can sell now and how much of today's limit is left, trades waiting for approval, and recent activity. Open a token to propose a trade, or a trade to follow it slice by slice. A Season launch's Trading page links here too.
Treasury trades are for Season launches only. An Instant launch puts its whole supply on the bonding curve, and a raise hands its supply to backers and the pool, so neither keeps business buckets to trade.
Your treasury wallet
Each organisation has a Treasury wallet card on its page in Organisations. Connect a wallet there and sign to prove you control it. It pays for buybacks and receives the SOL from sales for that organisation's projects. To give a project its own, open the project and use its Treasury wallet card. A project uses its own wallet first, then its organisation's; with neither, treasury trades are unavailable for it.
What you can sell
Only your business buckets from the tokenomics split (Treasury, Team, Founder, Marketing, R&D and others), and only what has unlocked and still sits in the bucket's wallet. A bucket without vesting is fully unlocked. Each bucket on the token page shows what it holds, what has been sold, its vesting, and what you can sell now; a bucket that can't be sold says why.
- Never sellable. The Seasons pool, which farmers claim from at season end, and the liquidity in the pool.
- Buybacks. Set in SOL and paid from your treasury wallet. Burn the tokens you buy back, or keep them in the treasury.
- Proceeds. SOL from a sale goes to your treasury wallet, after the normal trading fee.
Proposing and approving
- Anyone whose role includes Treasury trades proposes a trade: buy back or sell, the bucket for a sale, the amount and how many hours to spread it over. You can write the public notice yourself or keep the standard one.
- A different team member approves or rejects it. You can't approve your own.
- Once it's approved, the wallet the trade spends from signs one approval — sell from the bucket's wallet, buy back from the treasury wallet. It lets DappFactory's trading account trade exactly that amount and nothing more; the trade is scheduled as soon as the approval is seen on-chain.
- The public notice goes out: on the token's market page in the farmer app, at the top of the Social Feed, and on the token's and your business's Trader pages. The first slice runs after the notice period DappFactory sets.
- The trade runs in hourly slices. Every slice is labelled with your business and the wallet it came from, on the token's trades and in the Trading feed.
Limits and blackouts
- Daily limit. Your trades on a token in one day can't exceed a share of its 24h volume or of its pool liquidity, whichever is lower. A slice that would go over waits an hour.
- Spread. Every trade is split into hourly slices over at least the shortest spread DappFactory allows.
- Blackouts. No treasury trades in the last days of a season. A slice that falls in one waits.
- Paused. Treasury trades also stop while trading on the token is frozen, while DappFactory has paused treasury trades for your business, or while the feature is switched off. A trade that is running stops at its next slice.
