Launching
Projects, seasons, competitions, collectibles and media.
- Creating a project — A project is the thing you are putting in front of farmers. The type you pick first decides everything the rest of the form asks for, and it cannot be changed afterwards.
- Editing a project — Most of what you set at create can be changed afterwards: links, product details, joining rules and a season launch's commissions. What was written on-chain, or what farmers entered on, stays as it was.
- Running a points competition — A community support project has no token. Farmers earn points from your tasks, rank on a leaderboard, and the top ranks win real prizes that you fund and the platform settles.
- Running seasons — A project that awards points runs in seasons. A community project can run as many as you like, one at a time, each with its own window, prize and leaderboard; a token launch runs one, and its end fixes the conversion rate.
- Collectibles and keepsakes — Everyone who enters a community season can take something home. Every entrant claims a free keepsake that records their rank; the ranks you put in a collectible band get a durable piece of art, and any entrant can pay for one of their own.
- Your own collectible templates — NFT → Collectible templates is where you build the artwork for your own durable collectibles. A template is a stack of layers, and each layer holds traits: transparent PNGs, each with a weight that sets how often it's drawn.
- Holder keys: what holding opens — Turn your collectibles, or DappFactory's, into a key for your project: a holders' board, holder-only tasks, season entry and a points boost.
- Selling collectibles in drops — A drop is a numbered run of collectibles (#1 to #N) that farmers buy directly. Drops have their own templates, kept apart from the collectible templates behind prizes and participation, so a bought item never reads as earned.
- Trading and Alpha Vault — Follow how your tokens trade, see what you earn from trading fees, and reserve part of a new pool for the farmers you choose.
- Rarity pricing and platform requirements — Price a drop or a template collection by rarity tier, and see what DappFactory requires before farmers can use gated features.
- Treasury trades: buybacks and sales — Buy back your Season launch token with treasury SOL, or sell unlocked tokens from your business buckets, in the open and within DappFactory's limits.
- How the raise supply split works — The split decides three things at once: what contributors share, what seeds the pool, and what you keep. The three must total 100%, and the price is whatever the raise settles at.
- Uploading collection artwork — A unique set derives its supply from the images you upload — one item per file. An edition drop uses one image many times, so you type the supply instead. Either way the artwork freezes at mint.
- Marketplace templates — A marketplace template is a layer set for an NFT collection you sell. Create a collection from it and the platform composes every item, writes its traits and mints the supply you choose.
- Your NFT collection page — Opening an NFT collection from Projects shows how it is selling, every item in it, and the settings you can still change.
- Adding project media — Project media shows farmers what a project is about, with images, audio and video of the real thing it represents. Add it from the Project media card on the project page.
