Setting a fee
A fee names what it is charged on, and that binding is permanent — commissions attach to it.

What a fee is
Fees are how a project earns from its own activity. A fee is a flat amount in the network coin (SOL on Solana) that a farmer pays for one specific thing. It is not a percentage and it is not a subscription: each time the thing happens, the amount is charged, the payment is verified on-chain, and the fee's share rules decide where the money goes.
Fees belong to your business unit, not to one project. You create them once under Fees and attach them wherever they are needed.
What a fee can be charged on
A fee binds to one resource, chosen when you create it:
- Task — a claiming fee a farmer pays to complete a paid task.
- Bonus — a claiming fee a farmer pays to claim a paid bonus offer.
- Token claim — a claiming fee a farmer pays when they claim tokens at the end of a season.
- Project — a project fee charged on the project itself.
The first three are claiming fees; the last is a project fee. The resource is permanent because commissions bind to it: a commission created for a task fee only ever applies to task completions.
Two more kinds of fee exist on the platform, booster fees and withdrawal fees, but they belong to the platform team and are not offered on this form.

Value
The value is the flat amount charged, entered as an amount of the coin — 0.01 SOL, say — and stored in the coin's smallest unit. The farmer pays it from their own wallet to the fee's deposit wallet before the task, bonus or claim goes through, and the platform verifies the transaction on-chain before crediting anything.
The platform's share
Of every charge the platform takes its share first. That rate is not something you set on this form: the platform team sets it, either for a kind of resource or, failing that, as the fee percentage that comes with your plan. Every charge's receipt under Revenues shows the platform's cut on that charge.
The commission rate
Of what remains, a slice is set aside as the commission pool — the money your commissions share out to the affiliates and influencers who brought the paying farmer in. The commission rate is that slice, entered as a percentage of the charge.
The platform caps the rate; a rate above the cap will not save. The remainder of each charge, after the platform's share and the pool, is yours.
A fee with no commission attached still charges its full value; it simply shares nothing. The platform's share is still taken, and the whole of your part goes to your revenue balance.
Which chain
A new fee is on Solana. The chain is fixed once the fee exists.
How a fee reaches a project
A project does not hold a fee directly; it holds a commission, and each commission points at its fee. A project has two slots — a claiming commission for the season token claim and a project commission — and the platform derives the fee from whichever commission you attach, so the two can never disagree. Tasks and bonus offers attach a commission in the same way. Instant launches, whose tokens are tradable from the start, cannot carry fees or commissions.
What is permanent, what can change
Permanent: the type, the resource and the chain. Editable at any time: the name, the description, the value, the commission rate and whether the fee is active.
A fee starts charging as soon as something references it — a task, a bonus offer or a commission — so check the value and the rate before anything attaches.
Where the money lands
Charges are settled through the platform's ledger: the platform's share to the platform, the commission pool to whoever the attached commission's formula names, and the rest to your business unit's revenue, where it shows under Revenues, per network, and can be withdrawn.
