Signing in and keeping your account safe

Sign in with your wallet, your email or a social account. A sign-in signature never moves funds, and DappFactory never asks for your recovery phrase.

The farmer app at app.dappfactory.io offers:

Your wallet. Choose Connect wallet, pick your Solana wallet, and approve the sign-in message. Signing a message proves you control the wallet. It is not a transaction: it costs nothing and moves nothing.
Email or username and password. If you forget the password, choose Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and we email you a reset link. If your account has two-factor authentication, the sign-in asks for the code as well.
Google, X or Discord, when the platform offers them. They appear on the sign-in page only when they are switched on.

Whichever you use, it is the same account: your projects, points, earnings and profile come with you.

Your wallets

Rewards and withdrawals go to a wallet linked to your account. Under My Profile → Wallets, connect a Solana wallet and approve a signature; nobody can link a wallet by typing in its address. One linked wallet is your primary payout wallet, and that is where withdrawals are sent. You can make another wallet primary or disconnect one from the same tab.

What we will never ask for

No email, chat message or call from DappFactory will ever ask for your password, your wallet's recovery phrase or private key, or a two-factor code. Anything that does is not from us, whatever it looks like. Your recovery phrase belongs only in your wallet and in your own safe backup.

Spotting a fake

Our emails come from addresses ending in @dappfactory.io.
Our sites are dappfactory.io and app.dappfactory.io (the farmer app). Before you sign in or connect a wallet, read the whole address in the address bar; copies use an extra word or a different ending.
A sign-in only ever asks you to sign a message. If a page that claims to sign you in asks you to approve a transaction, close it.

If something looks wrong

Do not click the link. Forward the message to [email protected] and we will tell you whether it is ours. If you typed your password into a page you now doubt, change it straight away. If you shared a recovery phrase, move your funds to a new wallet at once and link the new wallet instead: nobody, including us, can undo a transaction once it is signed.

Steps

Open app.dappfactory.io and choose how to sign in: your wallet, your email or username, or a social account if one is offered.
With a wallet, choose Connect wallet, pick your wallet, then approve the sign-in message. It is a message, not a transaction.
Open My Profile → Wallets and link the Solana wallet you want to be paid in.
Make that wallet your primary payout wallet.
